About the Artist
For nearly 30 years, Tina has called Montana home — and she wouldn’t trade it for the world. From the sweeping plains to the lakes, rivers, and wildlife that make the state so unforgettable, Montana has shaped both her life and her art.
She first discovered painting in the middle of raising four kids as a single mom. With the chaos of teenage years swirling around her, she searched for peace and found it in paint, canvas, and color. What began as an escape soon became a lifelong passion. Today, painting is still her sanctuary — and the way she helps others hold onto the places and moments that matter most.
Her style blends realism with dreamy impressionism. Using mixed media — acrylics, oils, and sometimes unexpected elements — she transforms photos into vibrant, emotion-filled canvases. While the composition begins with the familiar (a cherished snapshot, a family cabin, a Montana horizon), she layers in depth, color, and movement until the piece feels alive.
Her mission is simple: to preserve memories and capture the spirit of Montana in art that lasts for generations. “Life is all about the memories we have,” she says. “Since we spend so much of our lives in our homes, our walls should hold the heart of those memories.” Clients agree — one collector once called her work “the best gift anyone has ever given.”
Her paintings have been featured in the Billings Art Walk, displayed at Frame Hut & Gallery, and can currently be seen at Floor By Design in Billings, MT. Each Montana Legacy Canvas™ she creates is infused with care, emotion, and her own Storyscape Method™ — ensuring that every piece is more than a painting. It’s a legacy.
